Sir Peter Rigby Charitable Trust Supports Maggie’s Expansion to the West Midlands
19 Jun 2026
The Sir Peter Rigby Charitable Trust is supporting national cancer charity Maggie’s to bring its expert, compassionate support to the West Midlands for the first time.
Despite being home to millions of people and some of the UK’s largest cancer hospitals, the region currently has no Maggie’s centres. This partnership will help address that gap, ensuring that more people across the West Midlands can access the practical and emotional support they need, closer to home.

A cancer diagnosis can be life-changing, not only for those affected but also for the family and friends supporting them. Access to specialist advice, guidance and a welcoming space can make a profound difference in helping people navigate treatment and life beyond it. Through this collaboration, the Trust aims to make that support more widely available across the region.
This initiative reflects a long-standing principle at the heart of the Rigby Group and the Trust: that success brings responsibility. As a business founded and headquartered in the West Midlands, there is a strong commitment to investing in the communities that have been integral to its journey.
