Rigby Group publishes first group-wide Sustainability Report 2024

We are delighted to announce that Rigby Group has today published its first group-wide Sustainability Report 2024, unveiling a commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2040, a decade earlier than previously planned.
The report outlines Rigby Group’s sustainability activities to date, and sets out its targets and overarching ambition to cultivate longevity, growth, and prosperity, while enriching the environment and society. It also introduces the Group’s sustainability initiative, Project Sequoia, the guiding star, under which all future sustainability successes.
Project Sequoia has four key pillars: planet, people, prosperity, and principles which underpins the other three – with targets set by the Group in each area.
Steve Rigby, Co-Chief Executive Officer at Rigby Group, said: “For a complex organisation like Rigby Group, achieving true sustainability is neither simple nor straightforward. Our size and commercial diversity bring a multitude of challenges, but we are committed to acting, listening, and learning to leave a better world for future generations.
“Though the task that lies ahead is complicated, our longstanding family values, ethos of acting ethically, and tenacity for tackling challenges provide a firm foundation for the Group’s success in this endeavour.
“As we approach our 50th anniversary in 2025, I am confident that the sustainability solutions we are innovating and investing in today will result in many more decades of growth and prosperity for us, our shareholders, stakeholders and the planet.”
